A Lively and Interesting Dialogue. Lectures on the Basics of Buddhist Philosophy Are Held at the Central Khurul
The basics of Buddhist philosophy based on the unique text by Lama Tsongkhapa (Lamrim Chenmo). The monks of the Central Khurul hold lectures weekly. This past weekend, Sanan-gelung explained in great detail to those gathered about the law of karma according to the Lamrim.
The theory of cause and effect is of interest to the younger generation as well as to adults.
As Sanan-gelung noted, everything in our world is interconnected, and before studying the law of karma it is important to understand Refuge, to know the objects of Refuge — the Three Jewels: the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha.
During the meeting, the participants of the lecture asked a great many questions, to each of which they received a thorough answer.
They spoke about the inviolability of the law of karma, about deeds and their fruits… the dialogue turned out to be very lively and interesting. It is gratifying that young people are so active at such lectures.
