A precious vase for good fortune, well-being and prosperity
On the first day of October, the traditional tantric ritual Yangdrub will take place at the Central Khurul. Even now our residents are preparing their vessels of wealth for consecration — “yang-bum,” “pumba.” It is believed that the pumba is intended for attracting, preserving and multiplying spiritual and material goods, so that peace, harmony and success in all endeavors may reign in the family.
This vase is made in accordance with secret Buddhist tantric practices and rituals. Medicinal herbs and grain crops, precious kinds of wood, as well as precious metals — gold, silver, precious stones and incense — are placed in it. During its making by the monastic Sangha of the tantric monastery of Gyumed, a countless number of mantras were recited and offerings were made to the deities, so that the owner of the Precious vase might attain good fortune, well-being and prosperity.
The vessel is sealed, and it must not be opened, since the blessing power would leave it.
On October 1, the Yangdrub ritual will take place in 2 sessions: from 9.00–11.30, from 13.00–15.00.
And it is precisely in the course of this tantric ritual Yangdrub that all favorable factors are invoked into this vessel.
And we remind you that the vessels of wealth for consecration will be received at the khurul from September 27, from 9.00 in the morning.
