A stupa consecration ritual was held at the Central Khurul

A ritual of consecrating the stupas, which will later be installed around the perimeter of the main Buddhist temple of Kalmykia, has recently concluded at “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni.”

Today the monks consecrated all the substances necessary for the depositories: specially rolled mantras (nom), tsatsa, jewels, incense, and the tree of life. According to all Buddhist canons, these are to be placed inside the future stupas.

The process of placing the already consecrated objects will take place starting December 5, and the installation of these stupas around the entire perimeter of the khurul is planned for spring.
