The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to the Russian Federation, Mr. Milan Raj Tuladhar, took part in the festive prayer service at the Central Khurul
The events dedicated to the celebration of Tsagan Sar at the main Buddhist temple of Kalmykia continued with a great solemn prayer service. Its honored guests were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to the Russian Federation, Mr. Milan Raj Tuladhar, and a delegation from the Society for Cooperation and Friendship with Nepal (OSDN).
In his address to the residents of Kalmykia, the Nepalese guest offered congratulations on the coming spring and wished peace and goodness to every home, while together with his wife offering prayers for the benefit of all living beings. As a gift to the Central Khurul, Mr. Tuladhar presented a statue of Buddha Shakyamuni made in Lumbini.
On this day, representatives of the legislative and executive bodies of state power came to congratulate the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia, the monastic Sangha and all the faithful. Everyone noted that Tsagan Sar is one of the holidays beloved by all, with whose arrival everyone awaits something new, kind and good.
And after the festive prayer service, a traditional treat of delicious jomba and fragrant bortsoki awaited all those present.
