The annual life-extension rituals “Nas utdullhn” to be held in Kalmykia

Starting as soon as next weekend, on November 18, the main Buddhist temple of Kalmykia will begin holding the annual life-extension rituals “Nas utdullhn”.

By tradition, they are held on the eve of the national holiday ZUL, which this year falls on December 7.

As in previous years, these life-extension rituals are performed by offering prayers to the three deities of longevity: Amitayus, Ushnishavijaya and White Tara. In all, 6 rituals are planned, which will be held on weekends.
