Annual tantric rituals to take place at the Central Khurul

At the beginning of October, annual tantric rituals will take place at the Central Khurul, which have already become one of the main events in the spiritual life of the Buddhist republic. These are the ritual of removing obstacles — “Torgyak,” the ritual of invoking well-being and good fortune — “Yangdrub,” the ritual of gratitude to the protectors of the Teaching — “Tangrak Kangso,” the ritual of offering the Fire puja — “Jinseg.”

The series of rituals will be led by the well-known Teacher, the Venerable Yeshe Lodoy Rinpoche, who will arrive specially from the Republic of Buryatia.
It is worth noting that the Kalmyks performed such tantric ceremonies over the course of many centuries. However, during the years of Soviet power the rituals were interrupted, and, accordingly, the tradition was lost. 18 years ago it was revived, and they began to hold it annually.

Our residents actively take part in these grand prayer services, for even taking part in them and contemplating them is considered a great virtuous act for purification and the accumulation of merit.

Dear believers, the receiving of vessels of wealth for consecration will be conducted at the khurul from September 27, from 9.00 in the morning, in rooms 312, 313, 314 and 315.
