Arkady Mandzhiev Has Passed Away

With deep sorrow we learned that Arkady Mandzhiev — Hero of Kalmykia, Honored Artist of the republic, member of the Union of Composers of Russia, and singer — has passed away in the 61st year of his life. Over the years of his life Arkady Naminovich made an enormous contribution to the development of music and the Kalmyk language; he is the author of the compositions that were performed in the “Musical Offering to the Three Jewels”. The monastic community of Kalmykia expresses its condolences to his loved ones and relatives and prays for the fortunate rebirth of Arkady Naminovich. Om sän ornd törtkhä!
