Before the New School Year, Laypeople Received Instructions from the Monastic Sangha of Kalmykia

On the last day of summer, before the start of the new school year, the monks of the Central Khurul held a traditional prayer service for schoolchildren and students. As on the previous Sunday, there was a large crowd. Children of different ages and adults alike - everyone, together with the monks, turned to Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom.

The Shajin Lama of Kalmykia, Geshe Tenzin Choydak, gave instructions for the new school year, wishing everyone to strive to live in accordance with the Teaching of Buddha Shakyamuni, which means to live in harmony with oneself and with the world around.
