The Central Khurul Held the Concluding “Dolkar Tsedub” Ritual
Today the Central Khurul held the concluding “Dolkar Tsedub” ritual, a prayer service for the long life of the 14th Dalai Lama. It was offered over three days on behalf of the entire Kalmyk people. The monks, together with the faithful, prayed to both the White Tara Goddess and all the deities for the good health of the Spiritual Leader for many years. As the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia, Geshe Tenzin Choydak, noted, the sincere prayer of each of us will be for the good, will be heard, and our Precious Teacher will remain with us as long as possible🙏
Tomorrow, July 6, from early morning Kalmykia will greet the birthday of His Holiness also with prayers. At 7:30 a.m., the “Sangsol” ritual will be held on the grounds of the khurul. Everyone who wishes may join and take part in the sacred rite.
