Today the Central Khurul summed up the results of the city contest “Eezhin keln – enkr zöör.”

Everyone who came out on stage was met with loud applause. Today the Central Khurul summed up the results of the city contest among pupils of preschool institutions “Eezhin keln – enkr zöör.” Almost 70 boys and girls took part in it.

The day before, the contest committee reviewed all the prepared performances. Children aged 4 to 7, in the categories “Magtal,” “Shülg,” “Yöräl,” and “Shavash,” demonstrated knowledge of their native language, love for their traditions and customs, and the ability to hold themselves before an audience.

Today, at the gala concert, the audience got acquainted with some of the best performances. The Shajin Lama of Kalmykia, Geshe Tenzin Choydak, expressed his admiration for the rising generation, noting the importance of holding such contests. “I especially want to thank the teachers and parents who make such a significant contribution to the development of the children. This is our future, and the fact that from an early age they are studying their native language and their culture will only enrich them,” the Head of the Kalmyk clergy said to those present.

The Central Khurul always tries to help in organizing such contests. And this time, together with the Education Department of the Administration of the city of Elista, the celebration of the native language was a great success! Every participant was recognized with Certificates of Honor and personally received a blessing from the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia, while the winners and prize-holders of the contest received valuable prizes — the children went home on new scooters.

“We prepared such gifts so that our children spend more time in the fresh air and lead an active lifestyle, developing not only mentally but also physically; this is very important, because they are our future,” especially emphasized the head of the administration of the Central Khurul, Yonten-gelung.
