Consecration, Laying, and Installation of Stupas

At the Central Khurul of Kalmykia “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni,” a ritual of consecrating stupas that will be installed around the perimeter of the khurul took place.
According to Buddhist canons, consecrated objects are placed inside them: tsatsa, incense, the tree of life, as well as special mantras that are written on paper and rolled in a certain way.

On the first day of July, 14 stupas were installed around the perimeter.
