Tomorrow the Construction of the Green Tara Mandala Begins at “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni”

At the invitation of the Central Khurul, a delegation of monks will arrive especially for this occasion from Drepung Gomang Monastery, led by Geshe Lharampa Tenzin Sangpo Rinpoche. The construction of the mandala itself will take place from October 26 to 30 inclusive, and on November 14 the ceremony of its destruction will be held, which the faithful can behold for almost two weeks in the main Buddhist temple of Kalmykia.

The monks from India will also perform special rituals and build mandalas in the town of Lagan and the village of Tsagan Aman. Here, in this post, we attach the full schedule both for the city of Elista and for the districts.
