Construction of the Yamantaka sand mandala completed in the village of Yashkul
Today in the village of Yashkul the construction of the Yamantaka sand mandala was completed.
Over the course of 5 days the monks of Drepung Gomang Monastery led by the venerable Gyumed Khentul Rinpoche erected this Buddhist sacred object. This morning they held the consecration ceremony of the mandala, and now the residents of the Yashkul and neighboring districts are contemplating and worshipping the “brought-to-life” palace of Yamantaka.
The residents themselves consider it great fortune to behold how, before their very eyes, the clergy create this sacred object grain by grain, feeling a special connection with the deities.
Tomorrow already, at 9:00, the ceremony of dismantling the sand mandala will take place. Everyone is welcome
