A Delegation of Monks from Drepung Gomang Set Off for the Village of Tsagan Aman
Tomorrow, October 31, a delegation of monks from Drepung Gomang will begin creating a sand mandala in the village of Tsagan Aman. There, at the “Bogdo” cultural and sports center, they will build a Medicine Buddha mandala. Over the course of five days, prayer services will be held, special rituals performed, and meetings with the faithful arranged to help them grasp the foundations of Buddhism…
And on November 5, the monks will hold the ceremony of dismantling the mandala they have built.
