A delegation of the Republic of Tyva led by the Khamby Lama Gelek Natsyk Dorzhu arrived at the Central Khurul of Kalmykia

The representatives of the Tuvan clergy will take part in the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the “Geden Sheddub Choy Korling” monastery.

On the first day the guests took part in the daily morning service, after which a meeting was held with the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia Telo Tulku Rinpoche. At the meeting, the parties discussed questions of further cooperation between the Buddhist communities of the two republics. According to the Shajin Lama, the two peoples are united by a great deal - this is both culture and traditions and, of course, the spiritual tradition. “If you ever need help, remember that the Kalmyk people, the Buddhists of Kalmykia, are always by your side,” the Head of the Buddhists of Kalmykia added.

At the end of the meeting, a tour of “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni” was held for the guests, after which the clergy of Kalmykia and Tyva visited the Tulip Festival.
