Festive Prayer Service at the Central Khurul

At this very moment, a festive prayer service dedicated to the Birth, Enlightenment and Passing into Mahaparinirvana of Buddha Shakyamuni is taking place at the Central Khurul of Kalmykia “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni”.

During the prayer service, a solemn ceremony of enthronement of the new abbot of the Central Khurul, Geshe Mutul, took place.
