Final Preparations for the Tantric Rituals
The Central Khurul is preparing for the annual tantric rituals. Final preparations are underway. In the coming days, all the monks and participants of one of the main spiritual events of our republic will offer prayers for the prosperity and well-being of all living beings. In addition, this year the tantric rituals will be dedicated to the swiftest coming of peace and the cessation of conflicts, that for which all people pray today.
As the clergy note, every participant of the rituals must have strong motivation while offering prayers for the benefit of all living beings.
The series of rituals will open tomorrow with the “Yangdrub” ritual, which will be held in 2 sessions: from 9:00 to 11:30 and continuing from 13:00 to 15:00.
One of the most important preparatory aspects for the upcoming rituals is making special offerings — balң (“torma”). To make them, tsampa is used — roasted barley flour, with the addition of three white and three sweet products. The torma is made with the intention of receiving the blessing of the Protectors, strengthening our sacred bond with them, and also developing our positive qualities.
