For the Harmonious Development of Diverse Russian Society

These days, Yonten Gelung, senior administrator of the Central Khurul of Kalmykia, is taking part, as an expert from the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation,
in the “Community” forum being held in Kazan.

Relationships between representatives of different cultures and faiths are necessary for the harmonious development of diverse Russian society. It was precisely this theme that formed the basis of the forum: “Russia: Diversity of Cultures, Unity of Citizens.”
Over these two days, sectional discussions and project sessions worked productively, and round tables, master classes, seminars, as well as trainings and working meetings were held. More than one and a half thousand people from 75 regions of Russia and 20 countries took part in the forum.

The Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation has held the “Community” forum annually since 2015. This year, “Community” has already taken place in Novosibirsk and Lipetsk. It is an open working platform for those who take action.
