Geshe Jampa. There Is Nothing More Important Than Compassion and Love

Geshe Jampa is one of the oldest monks of Kalmykia's main Buddhist temple “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni,” a spiritual teacher and clergyman who made an enormous contribution to the cause of reviving Buddhism in the republic. For twenty-seven years, Geshe Jampa unceasingly provided spiritual help to lay believers and was also an example and mentor for young monks. In an interview with the “Save Tibet” foundation, Geshe Jampa speaks about the Buddha's teaching and gives a piece of advice on practice, which became his last before his passing away in February 2021.
