Granting a Long and Happy Life. Today a White Tara Long-Life Empowerment Ritual Was Held in Kalmykia

A long life, wisdom, peace, and happiness of our mind… This is what the faithful who came to the khurul prayed for. Today a Long-Life Empowerment ritual took place here, led by the Venerable Kundeling Rinpoche.

The teacher spoke in detail about the supreme deity of activity — White Tara. About how powerful she is, and at the same time how close she is to us, sentient beings. And if one turns one's prayers to Tara with faith, then all the goals we strive for will be easily attained. “When you receive this empowerment, you should think: ‘Our precious human body, which we have obtained now, is an instrument by means of which we can attain benefit for ourselves and others. And all the obstacles that arise in our life, the various unfavorable conditions, we must remove, so that  we can engage in spiritual practice and bring benefit to sentient beings. And for this we need longevity.’ 

It is important to generate precisely such a pure motivation,” noted Kundeling Rinpoche.

During the ritual, the teacher explained which parts the empowerment itself consists of, how to visualize White Tara, how to address her and ask her to remove obstacles to a long life, so that she may grant all those present the highest siddhis.

Also on this day the faithful were given the beverage and pills of long life, which had been consecrated during the ritual

Tomorrow, June 3, the Venerable Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche XIII will make a pastoral visit to the Maloderbetovsky District.
