In Honor of His Holiness’ Birthday, the Monastic Sangha of Kalmykia Held the “Sangsol” Ritual

3 white and 3 sweet substances, as well as incense… These special offerings were prepared by the monks and believers of Kalmykia for the deities, the protector guardians of the 14th Dalai Lama. Today, on the day of his birth, all Buddhists of the world offer their prayers for the long life of His Holiness. 

At “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni,” the monastic Sangha led by the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia performed the “Sangsol” ritual in the morning.

May our Great Teacher live for many years in good health, and may all the thoughts and spiritual plans he has conceived for the peace and welfare of all sentient beings be realized
