In support of the Ketchenery khurul under construction

“Each of you has made a contribution to the future of our people, to the development of its spirituality; thanks precisely to this khurul under construction, perhaps thousands upon thousands of people will suffer less, will feel happier and healthier. That is why I sincerely rejoice in all your virtues, your merits, which will certainly serve the benefit of all sentient beings,” — with these words the head of the administration of the Central Khurul, Yonten-gelung, addressed those gathered at the latest charity concert in support of the Ketchenery khurul under construction. This time the event was held in the land of the Tselinny people.

The day before, the local House of Culture in the village of Troitskoye was packed to capacity. As the Ketchenery people themselves noted, this was their 11th charity event, the funds from which make a good contribution to the progress of the construction.

According to curator Mikhail Kokaev, everything is going according to plan, and they are not slowing the pace. At the moment, interior work has begun, and they plan to take up the electrification and heating of the temple under construction. “I would like to thank everyone who makes their possible contribution to the construction of our khurul. Only with a united impulse and joint efforts will we finish building our sacred site,” Mikhail noted.

And indeed it is so — through mutual help and mutual support much can be achieved. Such gatherings are yet another reminder that we are one people, that we have common sacred treasures — the Three Jewels: the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, and that we all, as one, wish happiness for our people. So be it!
