Today a long-life ritual dedicated to the goddess Ushnishavijaya - Namjl burhna nasni choha - was held at the Central Khurul.

Ushnishavijaya is the goddess of virtuous merits, who dwells on the crown of the Buddhas, hence her name. She symbolizes the enlightened thought of the Buddha.
The clergy say that the benefit of repeating the mantra of Ushnishavijaya is very great, since it protects both in this life and in the ones to come.

Today the faithful together with the monks of the Central Khurul of Kalmykia offered their prayers so that the goddess Ushnishavijaya would help overcome obstacles to a long life, heal all illnesses, cleanse negative karma, and free them from rebirth in the lower realms.
