The lunar calendar for 2025 is out
Dear believers, the lunar calendar for the coming year 2025 is now available for purchase.
As noted by its compiler, Andzha Gelung, the calendar has traditionally been released in a wall format. It lists all the dates of important Kalmyk and Buddhist holidays, the dates of Buddhist fasts, and sets out the lunar days, indicating which days are auspicious and which are not.
The new calendar features Acharya Asanga - an outstanding Indian philosopher, one of the 17 great scholars of antiquity - the panditas of the legendary Nalanda University.
The lunar calendar can already be purchased at the shop in the Central Khurul, as well as at retail outlets around the city.
