May the Spiritual Connection with the Teaching of the Buddha Grow Stronger Year After Year

A sacred event that united us in prayer and spiritual communion. The great prayer gathering “Ik Yöräl” has concluded in Kalmykia. Every year it falls on a special day - the day of the manifestation of the miraculous powers of Buddha Shakyamuni.

From early morning today,  the Buddhist temple received the faithful, united by their aspiration to purify and strengthen their connection with the Teaching of the Buddha. For them, the Venerable  Geshe Lharampa Jagba Gyatso bestowed the one-day Mahayana vows. Over these three days, for many hours, the monks of the Central Khurul offered up prayers to all the Burkhans for the benefit of all sentient beings. Special praises were dedicated to Buddha Shakyamuni. In every word, in every bow and prostration - great love and gratitude

Every year, many of the faithful gather to take part in such a significant religious event. It is gratifying to see more and more young people among them. This gives confidence that the spiritual connection with the Teaching of the Buddha will live and grow stronger year after year. May the merits accumulated over these three days become a cause for the flourishing of the Dharma, the well-being of Kalmykia, and the happiness of all sentient beings
