Tomorrow the memorial prayer service Yöräl will be held at the Central Khurul of Kalmykia

On December 28, at 09:00, on a day of mourning for all Kalmyks, a memorial prayer service for all those who perished during the years of deportation will be held at “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni.” The monastic community of Kalmykia calls on all fellow countrymen on this day, wherever they may be, to light Zul lamps in memory of the deceased, and so that such a tragedy may never again befall our people. The ritual will be broadcast on the official YouTube channel of the Central Khurul. Everyone will be able to send names to the email address moleben@khurul.ru, and offerings can be made via the QR code on the khurul's website or on its social media pages.
