The Monastic Sangha of Kalmykia Congratulates Geshe Lharampa Tenzin Norzang (Sanal Mukubenov)

The Monastic Sangha, headed by the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia, rejoices and congratulates the venerable Geshe Lharampa Tenzin Norzang (Sanal Mukubenov) on receiving the highest academic degree in Buddhist philosophy. This is a great and significant event for the entire Kalmyk people. Let us reiterate that this is the first case in the post-Soviet period when a native of Kalmykia has received the degree of Geshe Lharampa.
