Monks of the Central Khurul to hold rituals in Moscow on the eve of the national holiday ZUL
On the eve of the national holiday ZUL, the monks of the Central Khurul will hold prayer services in Moscow's Otrada Park on the grounds of the Buddhist temple complex “Tubden Shedubling”.
Geshe Yonten, Geshe Tsundu, Sanan-Gelung and Ubush-Gelung will hold the traditional memorial prayer service “Yöräl” this Friday, December 1. On this day the faithful offer prayers to all the Burkhans for a better rebirth of all those who have passed away, who are no longer with us. It begins at 18.30.
And on Saturday, December 2, in the same Otrada Park, the clergy will perform the life-extension ritual “Nas utdullhn”. This rite is recommended for everyone to remove threats to life, dangers and injuries, but first and foremost it is recommended for those born in the years of the Dragon and the Dog (Lu jil and Nokha jil). It is also recommended for the Year of the Sheep and the Ox (Khön jil and Ükr jil).
Both rites are planned to be held in a spacious, bright marquee. Nevertheless, keep an eye on the weather and don't forget to dress warmly. As a reminder, the address is: Moscow, Novovladykinsky proezd, bldg. 15.
