On the 14th Dalai Lama's birthday, medical and social organizations of Kalmykia received festive cakes

As part of the celebration of the Birthday of the leader of the world's Buddhists, the monastic community of Kalmykia, as well as the Tibetan diaspora in Kalmykia, delivered festive cakes to the medical and social organizations of Kalmykia.

According to the senior administrator of “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni” Yonten Gelung, it has become a good tradition to widely celebrate the Birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, however, due to the pandemic, this year it was not possible to hold this festival as in previous years, but despite this, a decision was made to deliver festive cakes to the medical and social organizations of the republic. Also, the sweet treat could be sampled by everyone who came to the Central Khurul for the festive prayer service.
