On the First Day of Urs Sar the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia Grants Vows of Abstaining from Alcohol, Tobacco, and Meat for a Month

Tomorrow the month of Urs Sar, sacred to all Buddhists, begins. And on its first day, at 7:00 in the morning, in the khurul “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni”, for those wishing to keep the fast, the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia Geshe Tenzin Choydak grants vows of abstaining from the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and meat for a month.
