Prayer Service for Students and Schoolchildren
This Sunday, August 21, on the eve of the new academic year, the monks of the Central Khurul will hold a traditional prayer service for schoolchildren and students. It begins at 9:00. During the prayer service, the clergy will perform rituals aimed at removing obstacles to learning, so that the new academic year may be successful for the children. During the prayer service, mantras dedicated to Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom, will be recited, aimed at removing mental defilements, and so that studying may bring joy and inspiration.
