Program of the National Holiday Zul Celebration

Dear faithful, tomorrow, December 7, all of Kalmykia will celebrate our national holiday Zul.

At 9:00 a.m. the festive prayer service will begin, during which the ritual “A Thousand Offerings to Lama Tsongkhapa” will be performed. 

At 11:30 all the faithful will be treated to fragrant jomba and delicious bortsoks.

 at 2:00 p.m. the Lama Chopa prayer service and the tsog offering will begin, upon completion of which the traditional walk around the khurul with the chanting of the “Migzem” mantra and the lighting of lamps will begin.
