Road workers made a gift to the Arshan khurul complex

On the eve of their professional holiday - Road Worker’s Day - the republic’s contracting organizations joined together for a good deed. In a very short period of two weeks, a new asphalt road was built on the grounds of the “Geden Sheddup Choy Korling” monastery, which the people call the Arshan khurul.

As one of the initiators of this idea, the Minister of Construction, Transport, and Roads of Kalmykia Anton Rubanov noted, this is a great indicator of the collective work of the entire industry as a whole: “Together, in a friendly manner, quickly and free of charge, 7 contracting organizations of the republic carried out all the necessary work. This is a great and significant deed”.

The senior administrator of the Central Khurul of Kalmykia, Yonten Gelung, also thanked everyone who took part in building the road and the area by the clergy dormitory. In conversation with the road workers, Yonten Lodoy noted the importance of the construction work carried out, both for the monks themselves and for the faithful. On behalf of the monastic Sangha, he congratulated the workers of the road sector on their professional holiday, and wished them well-being in their affairs and the realization of all planned projects.
