Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov Visited the Main Buddhist Temple of Kalmykia

An acquaintance with Buddhist culture and traditions. Today “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni” was visited by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov. Together with the Head of the region Batu Khasikov, they took part in a guided tour of the main Buddhist temple of Kalmykia.

The head of the administration of the Central Khurul, Yonten-gelung, spoke in detail about the khurul and about Buddhist traditions. Sergey Sergeevich was with his children, who were interested in everything and who had the opportunity to light lamps for well-being and health🙏

The guests were especially impressed by the statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, the contemplation of the mandala on the 4th level of the temple, and, of course, the grandeur of the khurul.
