The second day of tantric rituals concluded in Kalmykia
At the Central Khurul, the second day of tantric rituals took place, during which the monks, led by the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia Telo Tulku Rinpoche, performed the Jinseg ritual (Fire Puja).
Jinseg is a ritual aimed at removing obstacles on the path to Enlightenment by purifying the traces left by ordinary non-virtuous deeds, especially broken vows and promises, as well as preventing an unfavorable course of events. The word “Jinseg” consists of two parts: “jin,” meaning offering, and “seg,” meaning burning, that is, an offering through burning.
