The Venerable Geshe Tenzin Choydak, on behalf of all the faithful and the Monastic Sangha, thanked the authorities of India and the leadership of our republic and everyone involved in organizing the stay of the sacred relics in Kalmykia. “This is an unprecedented opportunity for all Buddhists of Russia to behold the most cherished holy objects without leaving the country. This is certainly a significant moment in the cause of the development and prosperity of Buddhism in our region. In these days thousands of the faithful have visited the exposition of the relics; for each of them this became a true event, where they received the very blessing of the Great Buddha,” the Shajin Lama noted.
