The Shajin Lama of Kalmykia on a Working Visit to India. Today Geshe Tenzin Choydak Was Received in Audience by the Dalai Lama

At the invitation of the abbot of Drepung Gomang Monastery, Geshe Lharampa Jagba Gyatso, the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia, Geshe Tenzin Choydak, has traveled to India to take part in the Long Life Puja for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The Puja is organized by Drepung Monastery. It will take place on December 24 in the main prayer hall of Gomang. These days, monks, honored guests, and devotees from all over the world are already gathering at the monastery.

This morning the Shajin Lama was received in audience by the Dalai Lama. During the meeting, expressing his deep reverence, he made a traditional offering of the symbols of the Body, Speech, and Mind of the Buddha. His Holiness warmly welcomed Geshe Tenzin Choydak and bestowed his blessing upon him.
