Shajin Lama of Kalmykia Telo Tulku Rinpoche continues his pilgrimage to the holy places of Kalmykia

On May 11, the Shajin Lama, together with monks and pilgrims, visited the khurul in the village of Tsagan Aman in the Yustinsky district, where he held a prayer service for the happiness and well-being of all living beings, the “Sangsol” ritual — an offering to the Three Jewels, all holy beings, the Protectors of the Teaching, the Sakusns, and the deities of the locality.

The Head of the Buddhists of Kalmykia, together with pilgrims, greeted the 1st lunar day of the Sacred month of Urs Sar at the Khosheutovsky khurul (the village of Rechnoye, Astrakhan region). Let us recall that this is the only khurul that has survived to our days on the territory of ethnic Kalmykia. The khurul was built according to the design of the noyon Serebdzhab Tyumen and resembled the Tyumen clan tamga — a drawn bow. Here the Buddhists from Kalmykia, together with the Rinpoche and the monks of the Central Khurul, performed the tantric ritual Tsog based on the text Lama Chopa — an offering to the Teacher.

Returning from the Khosheutovsky khurul to Elista, Telo Tulku Rinpoche visited the village of Khulkhuta, where at the stupa of Enlightenment he performed the “Hazr Taklhn” ritual.
