Special prayer services for schoolchildren and students to be held at Kalmykia's main Buddhist temple

This Sunday, August 24, the monks of the Central Khurul will hold a special prayer service for schoolchildren and students. Every year, on the eve of the new school year, prayers are offered at the main Buddhist temple to Buddha Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom, the patron of all who strive for knowledge.

The same prayer service will also be held the following Sunday, August 31. The monks will perform special rituals aimed at removing obstacles to learning. The prayer services begin at 9:00.
