Telo Tulku Rinpoche performed a series of rituals in the Lagan district

At the invitation of the local religious organization, the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia performed the “Salang” land-purchase ritual for the construction of a stupa on the territory of the Jalykovo khurul. The erection of such a significant Buddhist site is timed to the 30th anniversary of the founding of the “Galsang” khurul in the village of Jalykovo, which will be celebrated in 2022.

Also on this day, the Head of the Buddhists of Kalmykia visited the village of Burannoye, where a Lotus stupa is being erected by the efforts of local residents. And to conclude the trip, Telo Tulku Rinpoche performed the “Salang” land-purchase ritual in the village of Liman, where a stupa will also be built.

During the trip, the Supreme Lama of Kalmykia stated: “The construction of a stupa is a difficult and energy-intensive process, but if we unite our prayers and efforts, we will overcome all difficulties and achieve the desired result.”
