The Buddha, the Teaching, and the Sangha Cannot Be Desecrated

The other day, an act of vandalism was committed by malefactors at the Enlightenment Stupa in Elista’s 3rd district.
At present the police are handling the matter, and a search for those responsible is underway.

For our part, we would like to report that a cleanup was carried out on the grounds of this stupa, and in the coming days the monks will perform a ritual of washing and consecrating this religious object.

At the same time, the senior administrator of the Central Khurul, Yonten-Gelung, calls on the faithful to refrain from anger and negative thoughts, holding that such acts cannot desecrate the Buddha, the Teaching, and the Sangha.
