The Central Khurul delivered humanitarian aid to refugees.

More than 400 kilograms of sweets for children and 1,000 items of clothing were collected and sent to refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The greater part of the humanitarian aid was brought by the faithful of Kalmykia; these are the offerings that people brought to the khurul during the celebration of Tsagan Sar.

All the food offerings that the faithful bring to the Khurul are always used for charitable purposes, distributed among social institutions, and also given out to low-income families. This time the monks made the decision to direct the aid to refugees. In this way, all the faithful who brought deezh to the khurul became participants in a charitable campaign.

The administration of the Central Khurul thanks the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Kalmykia for its help in transporting the humanitarian cargo.
