A screening of a documentary film about an ancient Kalmyk relic will take place on January 9 in the conference hall of “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni.” The film tells about the symbols of a unique Kalmyk thangka, in which a message from our ancestors about overcoming the hardships of the world of Samsara is encoded.
