Today the first day of the Teachings of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama for Russians took place.
The main theme of the 2021 teachings was Maitreya’s “The Ornament of Mahayana Sutras” (Mahayanasutralamkara). The Teachings began with the recitation of the “Heart Sutra of Prajnaparamita” in the Tuvan and Buryat languages. His Holiness the Dalai Lama also answered questions from the faithful within the framework of the Teaching.
Tomorrow, November 5, the second day of the Teachings will take place, during which the “Heart Sutra of Prajnaparamita” will be recited in the Kalmyk language, and a question from Kalmykia will also be posed.
