The “Hurvn khüv” ritual held at the Central Khurul
Today, during the second session of the extensive “Kangso” ritual, the monks also performed the “Hurvn khüv” ritual. It is a threefold offering of torma (special offerings made of dough).
Also during this ritual, everyone present was handed pieces of dough with which they were to wipe themselves, imagining that all illnesses, everything negative and impure, sticks to this dough and remains in it, thereby symbolizing purification.
Everyone who came to the khurul today, offering prayers to the Burkhans and propitiating all the Protectors of the Teaching, asked for the well-being of all living beings and for help in removing obstacles.
