“The Legacy of Lama Tsongkhapa in the Buddhist Regions of Russia”
At the Central Khurul of Kalmykia “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni”, a round table “The Legacy of Lama Tsongkhapa in the Buddhist Regions of Russia” took place.
The honored guests of the event were a delegation of the Tuvan clergy led by the Khamby Lama of Tyva Gelek Natsyk-Dorzhu. Also arriving in Kalmykia as part of the delegation were the Did Khamby Lama Lopsan Mongush and the Keski Lama Lopsan Lekdup.
The speakers of the round table were scholars of the B. B. Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University and the Kalmyk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
