“The Virtuosi of Moscow” in Kalmykia.

With the support of the main Buddhist temple “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni”, a concert by the finest musicians of the Russian capital will be held in Elista - the state chamber orchestra “The Virtuosi of Moscow”, under the direction of People’s Artist of the USSR, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, UNESCO Artist for Peace, conductor Vladimir Teodorovich Spivakov. This event is being held as part of the international campaign “Thank you, Dalai Lama!”. Our residents can look forward to the presentation of the audiobook of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama “Ethics for the New Millennium”, narrated by Vladimir Spivakov. Viewers will also be presented with the film “The Plea”, based on the book. It was directed by our compatriot Mingiyan Mandzhiev.
