Today Is the Final Day of the Sacred Month of Urs Sar
Today is the final day of the sacred month of Urs Sar — a time of deep spiritual reflection, when the faithful strove to make the most of the opportunity to accumulate good merit and deepen their connection with the Buddha himself.
In Buddhism it is believed that during this month the power of our deeds increases many times over. We all tried to keep our vows, to be more attentive to ourselves and to others, and to do at least small good deeds every day. Today it is impossible to “weigh” the merit we have gained, but we can say for certain that when you do good, the heart becomes brighter. And if something did not work out and deeds were committed that lacked wisdom, it is important to sincerely repent, cleanse the mind of its heaviness, and promise to strive to act differently from now on.
May all the good deeds performed this month bear fruit — not only for us, but for all living beings. May they become a cause of happiness, peace, and understanding.
