Young People from the “Uralan” Youth Educational Forum Visit the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia

On the awakening of bodhichitta, on unconditional love for all living beings, on the foundations of Buddhism — this is what the young people spoke about at a meeting with the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia Tenzin Choydak (Mutul Ovyanov).

Yesterday, in the conference hall of the Central Khurul, an interesting meeting took place between the head of the Kalmyk clergy and the leaders and coordinators of the children's movement “Khamdan”. More than 60 young people were present at the meeting. It was held within the framework of the “Uralan” Youth Educational Forum, which was taking place in Elista during those days.

The young people listened very attentively to the Shajin Lama and asked questions… The topic of unconditional love for all living beings aroused particular interest🙏 The dialogue between the youth and the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia lasted almost 1.5 hours. At the end of the meeting, everyone was able to receive a blessing from the Shajin Lama and thank him for his wisdom and the time he devoted.
