Lectures on the book “A Condensed Presentation of the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Awakening” have begun at the khurul

A series of lectures by Geshe Lharampa Jagba Gyatso has begun at the Central Khurul. As a reminder, at the invitation of the Shajin Lama of Kalmykia, the venerable Teacher is visiting our republic for the second time.

Today, in the conference hall of “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni,” the audience became acquainted with the biography of the author of the book on which the lectures will be based. This is Kunkhyen Jamyang Shepa, a great scholar of his time. He wrote “A Condensed Presentation of the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Awakening.” Geshe Lharampa Jagba Gyatso explained to those present that they would go on to study the text itself and its commentaries. 

During the upcoming lectures, the listeners have a unique opportunity to ask all the questions about Buddhism that interest them directly to the Teacher. Already today those gathered were interested in the practice of patience, spoke about kindness and about working with anger.
